Let them write a book; but please, do not go out of your way to incude their claptrap here. At first, I enjoyed reading the Beasleys’ parodies of life. Their writings were a refreshing change from the stuff offered by others in this space.
But the well has now run dry, I am afraid. Familiarity breeds contempt. The purpose of a newspaper is to give people the facts about the world that they inhabit, not to constantly entertain them, as the Beasleys endeavour to do. Reading their letters every once in a while is all fine and dandy; but now they have written too many times here to be of any further use. Keep this space open to those who want to improve the world.
