Writer urges more careful reading

Does Robin Grant know how to read? I didn’t say he never spoke out for democracy in Thailand.

In fact I praised him for noting the hypocrisy of Nigel Pike for not speaking out on that subject. The fact that we now have evidence that Grant so blatantly misinterprets what was written may help explain why he continues to write outrageous nonsense about the animal-rights movement.
While I realise editors don’t have the same standards for publishing letters that they do for publishing articles, there should be some kind of rules to prevent the likes of Grant from continuously writing blatant lies about me and the movement I represent! He has clearly crossed the line!
As for Samsak Pola, who complains my letters are too hard-hitting, we now have two examples, the first being B Davies, the second Robin Grant, in which I attempted to be more polite and in both cases these people responded by kicking me in the teeth.
So. if you’d like to see more civility in this column, Mr Pola, I suggest you direct your concerns towards my critics
