I was stunned to see Rajendra Aneja referring to Brett Kavanaugh’s alleged attempt to rape a 15-year-old girl as
nothing more than a “teenage prank”.
Does Aneja have any sense of human decency?
But is Kavanaugh guilty? I think so. But that’s not the point. If the Senate suspects he’s a criminal, they have every right to deny him a place on the Supreme Court.
The Republicans would not even give a hearing to an Obama nominee simply because he was nominated by a Democrat. So while it’s fine to reject a Supreme Court nominee for being a Democrat, it’s not okay to reject him for being a rape suspect!
In the immortal words of Harry Truman: “The Republicans can go to hell.”
