Surin wins 2014 Peace Corps award

Surin Pitsuwan, former foreign minister and former Asean secretary general, has been named the winner of the 2014 Harris Wofford Global Citizen Award, the Peace Corps Thailand announced recently.
Suthanya Sukphaisal, the executive and communications assistant at Peace Corps Thailand, said the National Peace Corps Association would present Surin with the award at its third annual gathering of Peace Corps Connect in Nashville, United States, on June 21.
