Gold prices decrease from Monday’s levels
The gold bar price was Bt24,650 per baht weight for buying and Bt24.750 for selling, while the price of gold ornaments was Bt24,210 for buying and Bt25,250 for selling, the Gold Traders Association said at 3.30pm today (February 25).
The gold price remains at a high rate, as the metal is one of safe haven assets after a sell-off of equities globally.
The prices decreased from those at 9.25am. The gold bar price at that time was Bt24,700 per baht weight for buying and Bt24.800 for selling, while the gold ornament price was Bt24,256 and Bt25,300, respectively.
The last price announced on Monday (February 24) was Bt25,150 and Bt25,250 for buying and selling, respectively, while the gold ornament price was Bt24,695.64 and Bt25,750, respectively.
