Chachoengsao PAO officers made to work online for 5 days

Chachoengsao Governor Raphee Pongbuppakit today (March 16) ordered Provincial Administration Organisation (PAO) officers to work online for five days while their office is cleaned after Chachoengsao PAO chairman Kitti Paopiamsap contracted Covid-19.

Kitti revealed on his Facebook page that his Covid-19 test result on March 15 was positive after he attended a boxing match at Lumpini Boxing Stadium in Bangkok on March 6 with actor Matthew “Deane” Chanthavanij, who had contracted the disease along with another boxing fan.
“We have ordered more than 300 Chachoengsao PAO officers to work online for five days,” Raphee said. “Also, we appointed the Provincial Public Health Office to provide advice for officers and for the building to undergo a cleaning operation to control the disease.”
Raphee said he warned people who were in contact with Kitti to carefully observe their symptoms and strictly abide by Public Health Ministry recommendations.
“If you have a fever, sore throat, dry cough, runny nose and keep panting, you should see a doctor immediately to take a Covid-19 examination,” he added.
“If you have any questions, you can contact the Chachoengsao Emergency Operations Centre via Covid-19 hotline 094-7922525 anytime.”
