Vice president Chokchai Kolsrichai said on Friday (March 27) that Talaadthai wanted to help people get through the crisis, “using our experience as an important wholesale and retail marketer”.
“Five hundred mobile grocery entrepreneurs will load their trucks with both fresh and dried foods and other essential goods such as hand gels for people who need these products but can’t or don’t want to leave home,” he said.
Anyone who’s been laid off work due to the crisis and owns a truck is welcome to join the mobile-grocery network and can earn some money. They can call (02) 264 6264 or go to @talaadthai on Line.
“We’ve already prepared a parking area big enough to accommodate a lot of trucks,” Chokchai said.
