School director puts his post up as bail guarantee over child assault charges
A school director in Phetchabun province, who was jailed for molesting a minor, was granted bail on Wednesday (April 22) after he put his job at stake.
After a video clip of him molesting a 13-year-old schoolgirl was released, the director turned himself into police on Tuesday.
The chief of Lom Sak Police Station said the suspect paid with Bt500,000 and put his position up as bail guarantee, and was granted temporary release because officers don’t see him as a flight risk.
Despite the irrefutable evidence, police are interrogating teachers and parents in the community so the circumstances of the case can be concluded and forwarded to the prosecutor.
