Isolated heavy rains forecast for North, South, Central region

Don’t get caught in a sudden downpour: the Thailand Meteorological Department today (July 22) forecast thundershowers for most parts of the country, with isolated heavy rains in the North, the Central region and the South.

It warned people in these areas to beware of severe conditions.

Here’s the weather forecast for the next 24 hours:
North: Mostly cloudy with thundershowers in 60 per cent of the area and isolated heavy rains; temperature lows of 24-27 degrees Celsius and highs of 39-35°C.
Northeast: Mostly cloudy with thundershowers in 60 per cent of the area; temperature lows of 24-26°C and highs of 33-35°C.
Central: Mostly cloudy with thundershowers in 60 per cent of the area and isolated heavy rains; temperature lows of 24-26°C, highs of 31-35°C.
East: Mostly cloudy with thundershowers in 60 per cent of the area; temperature lows of 25-27°C, highs of 32-35°C; waves a metre high and 1-2 metres during thundershowers.
South (east coast): Mostly cloudy with thundershowers in 60 per cent of the area and isolated heavy rains; temperature lows of 23-26°C, highs of 32-34°C; waves a metre high and 1-2 metres during thundershowers.
South (west coast): Mostly cloudy with thundershowers in 60 per cent of the area and isolated heavy rains; temperature lows of 23-26°C, highs of 32-34°C; waves a metre high and 1-2 metres during thundershowers.
Bangkok and surrounding areas: Mostly cloudy with thundershowers in 60 per cent of the area; temperature lows of 26-27°C, highs of 33-34°C.
