Even though floods in Nakhon Si Thammarat province are receding, many residents are still not able to return home and are having to find shelter alongside roads.
The South has seen the worst flooding in 30 years last week, and though many areas have been cleared, several downstream zones are still under water.
Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha visited several downstream areas in Nakhon Si Thammarat on Monday.
