The oil palm plantation in Phanom district is approximately 500 metres from the national park, according to a Facebook post on Sunday by the public relations section at the Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation.
Initially, Khao Sok National Park and Khlong Saeng Wildlife Sanctuary will send their officials to monitor the wild bull's behaviour and publicise this issue to villagers.
Meanwhile, Khao Sok National Park has cooperated with veterinarians at Protected Areas Regional Office 4 on the plan to lure the bull back to the forest.
