Nan floods force Bangkok–Thung Chang buses to terminate in Pua

The Transport Co has temporarily shortened its Bangkok–Thung Chang service to Pua after floodwater made the road towards Thung Chang impassable.

The Transport Company Limited has temporarily adjusted its Bangkok–Thung Chang bus service because of flooding in Nan province, with buses now terminating in Pua district.

Continuous heavy rain has triggered flash floods and rapid run-off at several locations, particularly from the Nam Khwang Bridge area to the PTT petrol station in Pua district.

Floodwater has risen to a level that prevents all types of vehicles from passing through the area, while no other safe diversion route is available.

To ensure passenger safety, Nan Bus Station has revised operations on the Bangkok–Thung Chang route. Buses will temporarily pick up and drop off passengers only as far as Pua Bus Terminal instead of continuing to Thung Chang district.

The arrangement will remain in place until conditions return to normal and the route can be reopened safely.

Passengers holding tickets for the affected service who no longer wish to travel may request a full refund at any Transport Co ticket counter nationwide.

The company is monitoring water levels and road conditions around the clock and will adjust its services accordingly. Passengers will be informed as soon as floodwater recedes and normal operations can resume safely.
