
With the countdown underway to one of the year’s major royal ceremonies, the Royal Thai Navy has drawn up its 2026 rehearsal plan for the Royal Barge Procession in preparation for the ceremony on Friday (November 6, 2026).
Every stage of the rehearsals is being conducted meticulously to ensure the ceremonial barge formation is graceful, befitting the royal occasion and in keeping with cherished royal traditions.
Members of the public who are interested may watch the ceremonial procession free of charge from designated areas offering attractive views, subject to the admission arrangements below.
Bookings are now open for viewing areas arranged by the Royal Thai Navy, giving spectators a grand, first-hand view of all 52 royal barges in procession on the Chao Phraya River, with the Grand Palace as a backdrop.
It is a spectacle worth seeing in person at least once in a lifetime.
