Israel’s embassy in Thailand released a Thai-language video on September 11, 2026, pledging to address concerns about Israeli tourists and reinforcing its call for visitors to respect Thai laws and culture.
Rami Teplitskiy, the embassy’s deputy chief of mission, delivered the message in Thai. The video appeared on the embassy’s Israel in Thailand Facebook page alongside a statement in Thai and English.
The embassy said it was working closely with Thai authorities and had already issued an official guidance brochure for Israeli travellers. The brochure emphasised “strict respect for Thai culture and laws”.
The embassy explained that Teplitskiy had been determined to speak Thai himself so he could communicate directly and sincerely. It apologised in advance for any pronunciation errors.
The embassy also reaffirmed that it remained “fully committed to safeguarding our warm friendship” and to encouraging Israeli visitors to treat all Thai people with honour and respect.
