The Department of Highways, under the Ministry of Transport, is operating shuttle services on six routes on Sunday (September 27) to help people affected by flooding in Bangkok and nearby areas connect with public transport.
The services cover several major travel corridors and connect key areas to rail and other public transport services.
Six shuttle routes in operation
The six routes, all operating in both directions, are:
- Victory Monument – Rangsit depot: 7am, 9am, 6pm and 9pm.
- Union Mall – Happy Land: 7am, 9am, 6pm and 9pm.
- The Mall Ngamwongwan – The Walk Ratchaphruek: 6am, 12 noon and 6pm.
- Min Buri – Lat Krabang: 6am, 12 noon and 6pm.
- Fashion Island – Safari World: 6am, 12 noon and 6pm.
- Lat Krabang station on the Airport Rail Link – Min Buri station on the Pink Line: 6am, 12 noon and 6pm.
Travellers advised to plan ahead
The Department of Highways has urged people who need to travel to plan their journeys in advance, check pick-up and drop-off points and service times, and allow extra travel time.
