
The National Institute of Development Administration (NIDA) will bring together prominent speakers from Thailand and overseas for its 2026 national and international academic conference, marking the institute’s 60th anniversary.
The 2026 National and International Conference of the National Institute of Development Administration, or the 5th NIC-NIDA Conference 2026, will be held under the theme “Governance in the Age of AI: Transformation for Human & Global Impact” at NIDA on Seri Thai Road in Bangkok on Friday and Saturday, August 28-29.
A major highlight will be keynote addresses exploring management and governance in the age of artificial intelligence, delivered by internationally recognised academics in computer science and technology.
The keynote speakers are Professor Yew-Soon Ong, President Chair Professor in Computer Sciences at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, and Professor Irwin King, Pro-Vice-Chancellor of the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
The event will also feature a wide range of leading speakers examining how organisations and societies can adapt to AI-driven transformation.
Research papers, academic articles, case studies and doctoral research relating to sustainable development administration will also be presented throughout the two-day conference.
The programme will comprise 17 sessions, more than 21 speakers and over 180 papers. Thai-English interpretation headsets will be available throughout the event.
