The Homebuilder Focus will be held from March 1-7 at Central Lat Phrao; the Thailand Exclusive Property Show from March 2-11 at the Hall of Fame, Siam Paragon; and the House and Condo Show will be held from March 15-18 at Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre.
Property firms and home-builders are targeting sales of more than Bt5 billion from the three events.
Home Builder Association president Pachara Tanthabanyong said that all firms taking part in the Homebuilder Focus event will display their new residential designs and also offer special
promotion campaigns valued at between Bt10,000 and Bt100,000 to customers who sign contracts.
The buyers can also avail of special promotions from commercial banks who join this event.
The association targets new contracts valued at between Bt1.5 billion and Bt2 billion from the seven-day event.
Thai Real Estate Association president Kittipol Pramote na Ayudhya, who organises the Thailand Exclusive Property Show 2012, said that home-buyers who visit this event will get special promotions from both property firms and commercial banks.
The promotion campaigns include special discounts from property firms, zero interest rate for the first six months to one year, and many more.
“We believe that this event will boost the property market in the first quarter of this year after it faced a hard period in the last quarter of last year due to the floods,” he said.
He added that the association targets sales of at least Bt2 billion from the 10-day event.
Business Housing Association president Issara Boonyoung said that customers who visit the 26th House and Condo Show between March 15-18 organised by three property associations – Thai Real Estate Association, Business Housing Association, and Thai condominium Association – can avail of tempting deals from property firms and commercial banks.
Issara said that after the floods hit Bangkok and its suburbs in the last quarter of last year, the property market dropped about 22 per cent in 2011 compared with 2010.
However, the three associations believe that the demand to buy residential property will recover as most firms have measures in place to manage floods and will also launch spe-cial promotions at the 26th House and Condo show in this March.
Meanwhile, interest rate will come down significantly and commercial banks also will offer special promotions at this event.
The three associations are targeting sales of between Bt2 billion and Bt3 billion in this event, he said.
