D'Well plans 2-3 projects in 2013

D'Well Grand Asset Co plans to launch two or three residential projects worth Bt1 billion next year after scoring a success with three projects worth Bt1.4 billion this year.

"Although we’re a non-listed property firm, home-buyers have continued to show confidence in our projects because their designs and locations suit customer demand," managing director Tawanan Thanetdetchsunthorn told a news conference yesterday.

This is part of the company’s strategy to expand by developing both low- and high-rise housing, he said.

Two condominium projects, D65 and D25, were marketed early this year and met positive feedback. D65 was completely sold out and D25 was 90 per cent sold out in terms of value.

That shows strong demand for residential projects located close to mass-transit routes.

As the market was still growing, the company brought out its latest project, a detached-housing estate worth Bt350 million on Ratchaphruek Ring Road.

It took over the Krisana project, whose construction was stalled by the flood |last year, and renamed it D’Habitat.

Despite the flooding, the company believes that this location will continue to be in demand, so it decided to resume this project with a redesign to match customer requirements.

D’Habitat will have only 56 homes priced at Bt5 million to Bt8 million each. Already 15 homes worth Bt140 million have been sold.

The target is to sell out in the first quarter of next year.

"Sales of Bt800 million out of the total Bt1.4 billion for our three new residential projects this year will be booked as |revenue next year and Bt600 |million in 2014," Tawanan |said.
