AP (Thailand) launching 2 projects in Q4 as demand rises

AP (THAILAND) plans to launch two new projects this quarter worth Bt1.1 billion to boost this year's presales to Bt21 billion.

The two new projects will bring the total number of AP’s 2014 launches to 17, worth Bt22.8 billion.
“We launched 15 projects in the first nine months of this year to take our presales to Bt17.49 billion, comprising Bt8.8 billion from detached houses and townhouses and Bt8.6 billion from condominiums,” chief marketing officer Vittakarn Chandavimol said yesterday after opening “AP Space Odyssey” at Siam Paragon. The event runs until Sunday.
Vittakarn said demand for homes recovered in the third quarter, so the property market should do better in the second half than it did in the first six months.
After it saw demand recovering, the company launched AP Space Odyssey, a special event to introduce its two new brands, District and Mind, to attract customers in the second half. District is the brand for home offices, and Mind is for detached-housing project.
The first District project, being launched this quarter, is on Sriwara Road in Bangkok’s Lat Phrao district. Worth Bt850 million, its units are priced at Bt25 million.
Two Mind projects were launched in the third quarter, worth Bt1.7 billion, one on Rama VII Road and one on Tiwanon Road.
The other project being launched this quarter is Baan Klang Muang on Sukhumvit Road worth Bt1.25 billion.
AP Space Odyssey offers special prices for those who buy one of its homes, targeting presales valued between Bt900 million and Bt1 billion from the five-day event, Vittakarn said.
