SCG Green Building Solution, a division of SCG Cement-Building Materials, targets growth 20 per cent in the year 2018 from its total revenue ofBt1.4 billion in this year, SCG Cement-Building Materials’ managing director for innovative solution business Narin Chucharoen said on Wednesday

He added that the company has unveiled a plan to step up its consultancy business in 2018 and encourage market transformation towards green building development.
Its scope of services will expand to energy consulting and its client base will also be broadened to meet the uptrend in green buildings. While organisations are giving increased priority to green building and sustainable development, the market for green building construction is expected to grow 14 per cent by value next year, thanks to the government’s policy in favour of energy efficiency, reduced emission of greenhouse gases and green building certification.
