South Korea has paused E-8 seasonal worker intake from four Thai provinces after the absconding rate reached 20%, as both sides seek long-term fixes.

A wild bull, which had escaped from Khao Sok National Park in Surat Thani province last month, and was rumoured to have had relations with a cow raised at an oil-palm plantation nearby, is once again absconding, the Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation (DNP) said on Saturday.
