Thailand’s Deputy Finance Minister expects a draft bill on land and building taxes to be finalised this November after most members of a National Legislative Assembly committee vote to increase taxes on first homes priced above Bt20 million.

THE CABINET will consider the draft bill on the land and buildings tax today, permanent secretary for finance Somchai Sujjapongse said.
