After reaching an “all-time high” 13 times this year, there is a high possibility that gold prices in the Thai market could reach 40,000 baht per baht-weight before year’s end, according to gold trader MTS Gold Mae Thongsuk Group on Friday.

SCBX, the ‘mothership’ company of the SCB Group, is currently considering options, including a sale of its subsidiary SCB Asset Management (SCB), according to the company's letter to the Stock Exchange of Thailand on Monday.
