From October 16, Thai airport security may open suspicious checked baggage without its owner present, with inspections recorded and passengers notified

The Myanmar Embassy in Bangkok suspended services in its visa section on Monday after finding two suspicious packages that had been mailed to the embassy. The packages however turned out to be fake bombs.
