The Finance Ministry will review rules that may disqualify state welfare cardholders when their children claim parental care tax deductions, aiming to ensure aid reaches those most in need.

Cabinet has approved a healthcare insurance tax allowance of up to Bt15,000 per year for each individual, retroactive to January 1 this year as part of the government's policy to reduce the public sector's fiscal burden, Kobsak Pootrakool, vice minister of the PM's Office, said yesterday.
