Yet I once figured out that the money I would spend in a lifetime on insurance would most likely far exceed the amount I would spend on medical bills. (While people laugh at me for being a vegan, I’m 68 years old and, except for the one time I was in an accident, I haven’t needed to go to a doctor in 15 years).
