Cambodia is playing host to an international conference to find measures and solutions to protect cultural heritage and prevent looting of historical artefacts, which kicked off in Siem Reap and will run through September 8.

Antiquities dealer Douglas Latchford has been charged by the Southern District of New York with several counts of smuggling looted Cambodian artefacts.
