The price of diesel is likely to rise to 31.94 baht per litre from 29.94 baht if the Finance Ministry fails to extend current measures, an Energy Ministry source said.

The U.S. imports more from Asian countries than it exports and as per available data the U.S. runs trade deficits with most of Asian countries except Singapore. The U.S. has trade surplus of $8 billion with Singapore.
