
Bangkok recorded good overall air quality on Sunday (October 11), with the average concentration of fine particulate matter (PM2.5) at 20.3 micrograms per cubic metre (µg/m³), well below the standard limit of 37.5 µg/m³.
The Bangkok Air Quality Information Centre reported the figures at 7am, noting a downward trend in PM2.5 concentrations across the capital. While pollution levels remained below the prescribed limit, concentrations varied between districts.
Chatuchak registered the highest PM2.5 reading in Bangkok at 27.3 µg/m³, followed by Pom Prap Sattru Phai at 27.0 µg/m³ and Bang Khun Thian at 26.8 µg/m³.
The centre's 7am monitoring report ranked the 12 districts with the highest PM2.5 concentrations as follows:
Air quality was classified as good across all six zones of Bangkok, with PM2.5 concentrations remaining below the established standard despite differences in readings between monitoring locations.

Despite the improving conditions, the Bangkok Air Quality Information Centre advised residents to continue monitoring air quality updates, particularly before spending extended periods outdoors.
Those sensitive to air pollution were also encouraged to watch for unusual symptoms and reduce their exposure to fine particulate matter when necessary.
