Thailand’s Royal Irrigation Department (RID) and Japan are scaling up Paditch smart irrigation

As droughts, floods and increasingly uncertain water supplies put greater pressure on agriculture, Thailand is moving beyond conventional water-delivery methods to manage every drop more efficiently.

The next phase will combine Paditch technology with artificial intelligence, satellite data and the Internet of Things to improve irrigation precision, strengthen farm productivity and support fairer access to water.
