[Myanmar] CRPH appoints acting union ministers for nine ministries


The Committee Representing Pyidaungsu Hluttaw (CRPH) issued a statement on March 2 saying that acting union ministers had been appointed to nine ministries including the ministry of foreign affairs and the ministry at the president office.

The statement said four persons including three parliamentary representatives elected in the 2020 general election were appointed as acting union ministers for nine ministries. 

Zin Mar Aung from Yankin Constituency was appointed as acting union minister for foreign affairs, Lwin Ko Latt from Thanlyin Constituency as acting union minister for president office and for union government office, Tin Tun Naing from Seikkyikhanaungto as acting union minister for planning, finance and industry, for investment and foreign economic relations and for commerce, the CRPH statement said. 

Moreover, Yangon University of Medicine (1) rector Dr Zaw Wai Soe was appointed as acting union minister for labour, immigration and population, for education and for health and sports.
