Govt offers to help with tuition fees for young kids

The Cabinet on Tuesday earmarked 1.32 billion baht to cover tuition fees for 660,318 children enrolled in child development centres nationwide.

The remedy, which will provide 2,000 baht per child, aims to ease parents’ burden in the fallout of the Covid-19 crisis, deputy government spokesperson Ratchada Thanadirek said.
