Udon Duangdecha wins Thai Senior Tour Golf Championship

Udon Duangdecha set a tournament record with the lowest score, winning the Thai Senior Tour golf championship and receiving a prize of 120,000 baht.

The Thai Senior Tour golf competition, the Zen Golfer Factory Senior Championship 2024, was held at Watermill Golf Club and Resort in Nakhon Nayok province.

On Friday, August 30, 2024, the final round took place. Udon Duangdecha, former Thai Senior Tour No. 1, who had been leading since the first day, scored another 6-under-par 66, totalling 29-under-par over three days. He claimed the championship along with the 120,000 baht prize money and set a course record with the lowest score.

Second place went to Thammanoon Sriroj with a total score of 24-under-par. Third place was taken by Thaworn Wiratchant, former Asian Tour champion, who scored 7-under-par in the final round for a total of 16-under-par.

Udon Duangdecha said, "I'm happy with this success. Today I played with ease, trying to control my own game. This is a record I've never achieved before. I'd like to thank everyone for their support, especially Mr Sutin Darunyothin, President of the Thailand Senior Professional Golf Association, for organizing such a great competition for the members."

The Zen Golfer Factory Senior Championship 2024 is the fourth tournament of the season, with a total prize money of 1 million baht, with the champion receiving 120,000 baht. It was a 54-hole stroke play event over three days from August 28-30, 2024, at Watermill Golf Club and Resort, a par-72 course measuring 6,337 yards in Nakhon Nayok province.
