Amid the excitement of the 72nd Miss Universe in El Salvador that captivated millions of people worldwide, one of the highly anticipated moments during the finals was the announcement of Mexico as the host country for the 73rd Miss Universe pageant.
The event will be held under the leadership of Raul Rocha, chairman of the board of directors and chief executive officer of Legacy Holding Group.
Mexico has hosted the Miss Universe pageant four times — in 1978, 1989, 1993, and 2007. The upcoming 2024 event will mark the fifth time Mexico serves as the host, with the country having had three Miss Universe winners: Lupita Jones – 1991; Jimena Navarrete Rosete – 2010; Alma Andrea Meza Carmona – 2020.
The organisers have promised regular updates on the preparations for Miss Universe 2024.
