TAT enrols Chinese superstar in “Friends of Thailand’ to promote tourism
Luo Yun Xi, a famous Chinese superstar known for his role in the movie "Till the End of the Moon”, has become the latest member of the “Friends of Thailand” initiative.
The programme aims to promote Thailand through various travel experiences and facilitate cultural exchange between Thailand and China.
On November 4, 2023, at ICONSIAM in Bangkok, Chattan Kunjara na Ayudhya, Deputy Governor of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) responsible for Asian Markets and the South Pacific, presented the "Friends to Thailand" card to Luo Yun Xi, a renowned Chinese actor. He will serve as a representative for the TAT, connecting people and promoting cultural exchange between Thailand and China, thereby showcasing the beauty of Thailand to an international audience.
Chattan expressed his hope that Luo Yun Xi would have a wonderful experience while travelling in Thailand, exploring the beautiful tourist attractions, savouring delicious Thai cuisine, and sharing his impressions of his visit to further disseminate among his fan group.
Manatase Annawat, the general manager of Thailand Privilege Card Co Ltd, the organisation responsible for managing the Thailand Privilege Card membership card project, mentioned that this cultural exchange with Chinese actor Luo Yunxi was a valuable opportunity to strengthen relationships with his over 28 million Chinese followers.
Luo Yunxi will serve as a representative to promote Thailand through various travel experiences and facilitate cultural exchanges between the two countries.
Members of the Thailand Privilege Card programme, under the "Friends of Thailand" card project, will receive a special temporary five-year visa. Additionally, they will enjoy other exclusive privileges, including airport receptionist services, fast-tracking at immigration, special lounge access for arrivals and departures, short-term limousine pick-up and drop-off services, and various benefits from partner companies. These benefits cover a wide range of lifestyle aspects, such as health and spa services, shopping, dining, hotels, and more, ultimately enhancing the quality of life in Thailand.
