Pitak as first Thai Honda executive
Honda Automobile (Thailand) Co Ltd (HATC) has appointed Pitak Pruittisarikorn as executive vice president, effective on September 1.
He is the first Thai executive to be promoted to this position.
Pitak, 48, is currently director of Asian Honda Motor Co Ltd, Honda's Asia and Oceania regional headquarters.
According to a company statement, the appointment will help reinforce Honda's operations in Thailand as a major auto manufacturing and export base in Asia and Oceania. It will also help Honda to achieve its vision to provide good products to our customers with speed, affordability and low CO2 emissions.
