No increase in borrowing

Deputy Prime Minister Kittiratt Na-Ranong, who is in charge of the economic affairs, insisted that the borrowing during the 2012 fiscal year will not be increased to finance the spending schemes introduced by the new government.
He noted that the government will finance the schemes through higher revenue from other sources.
There were reports that the government expenditure in the fiscal year will be Bt2.36 trillion. During the Democrat-led government, the budget deficit in the year was estimated at Bt350 billion.
Kittiratt said today that the expenditure is not yet actual.
