Rojana entirely submerged

Water has reached all corners of Rojana Industrial Park, Ayutthaya, hurting 300 factories which are located in the 10,000-rai area.

 Director Amara Charoengitwattanagun said that all the three phases are now flooded and the company's management is convening how to restore the industrial park.
 "We do need the government's assistance in draining water from nearby areas as soon as possible. Only then can we pump water out of the industrial park," she said.
 Amara said that the damage is not yet known, depending largely on the flooding period.

Rojana Industrial Park is heightening its dyke around three parks in three parks in Ayutthaya to 6.50 metre high. In a statement tothe Stock Exchange of Thailand today, Rojana said that it has put in place the 24-hour team to monitor water pumps and prepared generators as well as diesel for emergency.  It also urged industrial plants in the industrial park to build their own flood walls. 

In the morning when floods reportedly hit only the first phase, Kiatnakin Securities expected the company's management fee to be shaved off Bt40-Bt50 million per month.
Rojana saw its share price drop Bt0.95 or 13.48 per cent, to close at Bt6.10.
