Honda extends assurance

Honda Automobile (Thailand) Co Ltd today assures all consumers that none of the flooded vehicles, components and spare parts would be put in the market.
In a statement, it also noted that all Honda showrooms will offer a 30 per cent discount on spare parts for all vehicles damaged by the floods.
Honda's plant in Rojana Industrial Park, Ayutthaya, is submerged in water, leaving hundreds of vehicles in water. The company has suspended the production since Oct 5 and now plans to resume the operation on Oct 22.
All workers now receive normal pays while all showrooms are still offering services and taking reservation, it said.
