According to a statement, the SEC reasoned that such amendments will allow bigger investment from fund management organisations like the Government Pension Fund, the Social Security Fund, provident funds and mutual funds in general. At present, the funds are allocated under the "small lot first" basis.

The SEC is open for opinions on the proposed amendments until Jan 26.
