IRPC subsidiaries seek Court's protection

Five subsidiaries of IRPC Plc, an integrated refinery and petrochemical operator, are seeking the Central Administrative Court's power in having the director lists changed.

In the petition to the court filed on Friday, the companies asked for the court's order for a change in the director lists.
This follows the Business Development Department's amendment on the lists following a ruling by the Central Bankruptcy Court, which allows Prachai Leophairatana, founder of IRPC who was ousted from the empire, to regain power over the five subsidiaries.
Prachai today promptly called for director meetings.
The five subsidiaries are Thai ABS Co Ltd, IRPC Oil Co Ltd, IRPC Polyol Co Ltd, IRPC Energy Co Ltd and Thai Polyurethane Industry Co Ltd. All are majority owned by IRPC.
