KBank to lure more high-networth clients
Kasikornbank is luring high-networth clients under its plan to boost the asset under management (AUM) by 15 per cent this year to Bt900 billion.
The asset management business also aims to boost the number of clients by 25 per cent to 100,000.
According to Krisada Lamsam, senior executive vice president of the bank, premium financial advisory services would be offered to individuals with Bt10 million or over in networth.
"These individuals control 70 per cent of total deposits," he said.
To be No.1 choice for these clients, the bank has offered the Wisdom service at some branches. Service corners for these VIP clients will be increased to 51 nationwide, to cover all major provinces.
The first Wisdom Lounge was also unveiled on Feb 28 at Sofitel So Bangkok, spanning over 1,900 square metres and overlooking the panoramic view of the Lumpini Park. Aside from the financial services, they are entitled to free entry to the hotel's fitness centre as well as discounts on food and beverages, room rates and others.
