Warner Bros expects to earn Bt800 million from goods based on popular characters

Warner Bros Consumer Product has launched its products based on its popular characters and expected to earn Bt800 million by the end of this year, its partner announced.

Pacific Licensing Studio, which takes care of licenses of goods of Warner Bros Consumer Product, joined the firm to launch the products at Sheraton Grand Sukhumvit on Thursday.
Neal Rudge, an executive of Pacific Licensing said during the Warner Bros Trade Show Thailand 2012 that goods based on the popular characters should encourage Thais consumers to buy genuine products.
The characters were used to make variety of products, including flash drives, iPhone and iPad cases, and clothes.
Rudge said popular characters that helped sell the products included Bugs Bunny, Tweety, Tom and Jerry and Looney Tunes characters.
