Central confident to win bid for land near Lumpini Park

Central Pattana is confident that it would win the bid for the old Armed Forces Academies Preparatory School near Lumpini Park.

Naris Cheyklin, senior executive vice president and Chief Financial Officer of Central Pattana, said that the bid should be open within this month.
"We'll join the bid for the land plot. It would take some time to know the result. All the designs have been submitted, but we can't unveil the details for now as we expect some competition," Naris said.
Central Pattana, the developer of Central-branded shopping malls, plans to invest Bt12-Bt14 billion during 2014-2016, with the plan to launch at least 4 projects a year.
While domestic expansion is on course, it sets sight to buy two properties in Asean countries. The first planned mall in Malaysia will be opened in 2016, a year later than schedule, and Central Pattana is finalising with its partner for the opening of the second mall in the country.
