Siam Cement Group is continuing to expand in Indonesia with plans to build a factory through its subsidiary Semen Jawa.

SCG plans to build the factory in Sukabumi, West Java.
“The total investment for this factory is 3.4 trillion rupiah,” or Bt9.3 billion, SCG CEO Kan Trakulhoon was quoted by Kontan.co.id as saying in Jakarta.
Kan said the new factory would be able to produce 1.8 million tonnes of cement per year.
The development of the factory will start in 2015, according to Kan.
SCG first entered the Indonesian market in 2002.
