Bonus approved for civil servants

Civil servants and government employees are entitled to special bonuses worth a total of Bt3.7 billion.
Manas Jamveha, the director-general of the Comptroller General's Department, said that Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Kittiratt Na-Ranong recently approved the bonus payment, to thank all who have helped implement the government's policies.
He said the bonus for the 2012 fiscal year would be paid within this year.
Of total, Bt3.4 billion would come from the government's central budget.
