Foreigners dump more Thai shares

Foreigners remained net-sellers on Thursday, following the US Federal Reserve's decision to scale back its bond-buying programme.
Foreign net-sell today reached Bt1.1 billion, boosting the month-to-date net sell to Bt38 billion and year-to-date net sell to Bt191.5 billion, according to the Stock Exchange of Thailand's data.
The Stock Exchange of Thailand index today lost 3.23 points or 0.24 per cent to 1,346.63 points, on thin turnover of Bt25.8 billion.
Shares in emerging economies - which have been in turmoil at the prospect of an end to the bond-buying - were mostly mostly lower, surrending earlier gains. Manila fell 0.64 per cent, or 38.43 points, to end at 5,923.12 while in the afternoon Bangkok lost 0.27 per cent, but Jakarta was up 1.17 per cent.
