Baht falls to 4-year low
The Thai baht weakens to a 4-year low, plunging to 32.84 against US dollar at one time on Thursday.
As of 1.50pm, the baht was at 32.83, after opening at 32.77. The currency has been weakening by more than 2 per cent from the end-November level.
A trader attributed the weakening to violence at the Thai-Japanese Stadium, which left over 30 including 5 police officers injured.
