True Internet targets SMEs

True Internet is focusing on small and medium enterprises (SME) to become No 1 in the corporate market and achieve its revenue target of Bt2 billion this year.

General manager Vasu Khunvasi said yesterday that the SME market, as well as the home office and small office market, show high potential both upcountry and in Bangkok. 
True Internet will also enter the education and government markets and join hands with True Online to expand its customer base.
The company offers various Internet services such as leased line for business and small business, cloud services and digital signage and security. Internet access starts at Bt1,300 per 30Mbps.
The firm is spending Bt200 million this year to update technology and expand its bandwidth both for international Internet gateway and domestic services. It now provides an international Internet gateway at a speed of 193Gbps, which will increase to over 200Gbps. It will also offer 200Gbps for domestic access. 
The company plans to grow its business by 30 per cent this year, versus about 12 per cent for the Internet industry. First-half revenue was on track with growth of about 30 per cent year on year.
