BANGKOK (DPA) - One of Thailand's largest investment holding groups is looking to set up manufacturing facilities in the Philippines, report said Monday.

"We are looking to (set up factories) for the cosmetics first," Saha Pathana Inter Holding Plc group president Chantra Purnariksha was quoted as saying by the Philippines Star.
"Then we will diversify to other products."
She said the Philippines were also interesting as a potential market, for example for cosmetics, most of which were currently imported. The Saha group has interests in cosmetics, textiles, toiletries, and food and beverages.
Its companies already have a presence in several Southeast Asian countries, including Myanmar, Vietnam and Indonesia. Last year's revenues exceeded 120 million US dollars.
